Meet Our Pets Team

‘B’
B came to us during Christmas of 2023 and has been a permanent part of our team ever since. He is a delightful little character who has his paws well and truly under the (consulting) table! He is loved by both the staff and clients and can be found at various locations in the hospital, often attempting to help at reception, enjoying the sunshine or trying to sneak some food or treats.
You will find more photos and tales of him on our social media platforms.

Hannah (terrier)
You might see Dr. Meek out with Hannah or find Hannah in reception as our welcoming committee. After losing Oliver, Dr. Miriam went to Richmond Pound in search of a new companion. Among the noise and commotion, a frail little old dog sat quietly in the corner. Curious, Miriam inquired about her and learned that she had been there for three months and had been returned twice due to behavioural issues and separation anxiety—challenges they are now working through together. Despite her past struggles, she is a kind, gentle, and very lucky old lady who has found a loving home.

Whiskey
Whiskey is Dr. Kate’s dog, who often spends the day at work with her. She’s a gentle giant with a loud bark that occasionally catches us off guard!

Oliver
Oliver’s Story
After nurturing and around the clock TLC our little puppy is becoming a beautiful big boy.. born October 1st 2014.
We decided to call him Oliver.. after the little orphan that come good.
The man surrendered him to us & we got him through the first few days & he is going from strength to strength.
Throughout the day he is in hospital letting us know when he needs us & Mim & I take it in turns to tend to him throughout the night.
Our wonderful photographer friend Julianna twoguineapigs Pet Photography popped in to take these amazing shots of him to show you just how gorgeous he is & why we have fallen in love with him already.

RIP Our beloved Oli
Sadly at the end of 2022, after a long battle with lymphoma, we had to say goodbye to Oli.
There is a big, black dog-sized hole at our hospital, he will be missed by Miriam, all of the PPVH Team, clients and locals in the park.
